Robert Lee Fryman, age 87, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his residence in Milton, Kentucky. Born March 17, 1931 in Morning Glory, Kentucky, he was the son of Harmon Lee and Ethel May (Jones) Fryman. On February 3, 1950, he entered the United States Army, where he served in the Korean Conflict. He rose to the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves on August 31, 1962. On May 9, 1952, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Frances Whirls in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He retired in 1994 from Kawneer in Carrollton, Kentucky after 40 years of service. .He was a member of the Milton United Methodist Church and the Lyons Club. He enjoyed fly fishing and tied his own flies, bowling, UK basketball and Reds baseball.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter: Peggy Huff of Milton; his sons and daughters in law: Robert and Sherry Fryman of Milton, Jerry and Lisa Fryman of Milton, and Kenneth and Darlene Fryman of Bedford, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews..
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Timothy Fryman; his brothers: Harlan, George, Frazier, and infant twin brothers, Ronald and Donald.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Milton United Methodist Church, Milton, with interment to follow in Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at the Milton United Methodist Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 4, 2019, and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hosparus or Disabled American Veterans. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
